What God-Modding Is
What Godmodding Is:
- If your character can come back as anything they want.
- If your character has powers akin to another species despite being an entirely different species.
- If your character claims to have an unique immune system.
- If your character tries to control other players character via means other than brainwashing/hypnosis/possession.
- If your character can survive practical anything.
- If your character has more than one set of lives.
- If your character can destroy almost anything with a touch of their hand.
- If your character literally is descended from a god but yet can handle heavy weaponry perfectly.
- If said god character only loses one tenth of his/her powers.
- If said character immediately tries to kill your character without giving him/her a fair chance to fight back.
- If said character just won't die no matter how many times you try and defeat them.
- If your character claims to be all powerful with only a few flaws or weaknesses.
- If your god or demon character can seduce anyone whether they like or not in a manner not unlike Jack Nicholson in Witches Of Eastwick.
- If you can get away with all this only to get yelled at by other players.
- If male, your character can cheat on any female character he wants for another like he's Russell Brand.
- If your character is superior to other players characters in everyway.
- If your character doesn't give the others a chance to fight back akin to dictatorship.
- If your character is an entirely different species but chooses to look like another species just because it's appealing to other people.
- If your character keeps getting revamped more times than movies are remade in Hollywood.
- If your character always is there to save the day/night.
- If your character always wins.
What Godmodding Isn't:
- If your character is inhumanly strong and agile but has limits as to how powerful they are.
- If you give other players a fair chance.
- If you actually allow other players to take your character down.
- If your character can't feel pain but has been killed off numerous times despite this.
- If you actually allow your character to be defeated or killed.
- If you let the other players be their characters rather than try to control them.
- If your character can use a legit ability to control his/her enemies.
- If your character has weaknesses despite being seen as all powerful.
- If the weaknesses he/she has are actually legit, or in some cases to do with their personality flaws.
- If the character has limits as to who he/she goes after.
- If his/her powers aren't as strong when around more resilient beings.
- If he/she is easily threatened by more powerful beings.
- If there are certain enemies that he/she can't use their powers on.
- If your character is equal to other players characters or serves another more superior character.
- If your character actually has a legit reason for not allowing others to fight back especially if they have been possessed or brainwashed.
- If you actually do allow your characters to let others fight back.
- If your character actually has a legit ability to assume a human-like form despite being a monster but yet there are certain things that revert them back to their natural form.
- If your character has that specific form because it's their natural form NOT because it's appealing to others.
- If your character doesn't always win.
- If you actually allow it to happen.
- If your character has always been the same and has only been revamped once or twice.
- If you know the limits your character has.
- If you get a positive reaction from other players because you've done all the above.
